MuoviTech acquires GeoHeat

MuoviTech acquires GeoHeat, strengthening our position as an expert provider of semi-deep and deep geothermal systems, including installation and service.

MuoviTech Finland Oy has acquired Finnish GeoHeat Oy on 20.10.2025. With the acquisition, MuoviTech strengthens its position as a pioneer in geothermal and installing semi-deep and deep geothermal systems in the northern part of Europe.

Located in Mynämäki, MuoviTech has long been known as an innovative player in the ground-source heat sector and a developer of high-quality borehole solutions. This business acquisition supports the company’s strategy to lead the development of the geothermal industry, where semi-deep and deep applications have significant growth potential both domestic and internationally with various service concepts and R&D.

“GeoHeat’s expertise complements MuoviTech’s service offering excellently. We want to be the best partner for customers throughout the lifecycle of a ground-source heat system, and now we can better meet the growing demand for medium-depth and deeper boreholes,” says Timo Henriksson, CEO of MuoviTech Finland Oy.

This acquisition gives MuoviTech valuable hands-on knowledge and field experience that will support the company’s product development. “By better understanding what is needed on site, we can develop products and solutions that serve customers more effectively and sustainably,” Henriksson adds.

For GeoHeat’s customers, the business transfer means a smooth transition and an expanded range of services. All ongoing projects and customer relationships will continue to be handled by MuoviTech.
